HI, I'M ASHLEE! CEO & OWNER OF BLK LBL ESTHETICS

I started my journey in the beauty industry in 2011 when I decided to enroll in cosmetology school while still a junior in high school. When I graduated with my high school diploma & cosmetology license in 2013 I quickly realized the hair industry was not for me & I wanted to focus on makeup artistry.

While I focused on building my makeup business I attended one semester of Ivy Tech, failed almost all my courses, & realized I was just there because I thought "that's just what you do after high school". I dropped out before enrolling for a second semester & found a makeup school in Chicago I begged my parents to go to. Within a couple of weeks, I was all packed up & making my way to Chicago for the program.

When I returned home I kept building my makeup business, dived into the content creation/influencer world, & began my obsession with all things skincare. I decided to enroll in esthetician school & graduated in 2016!

While building a name for myself in the beauty industry world, I found a passion for influencer marketing and content creation. Over the years I have learned how to merge the two perfectly to create another stream of income & help grow my business to the next level.  

While opening my studio BLK LBL ESTHETICS in June 2021 and going 100% solo for the first time in my career I soon realized the limiting beliefs that were holding me back from reaching my full potential all these years.

I now have found my passion in instilling confidence through business/mindset coaching & education, creating community, hosting in-person/online events for women, & was the co-founder of Project Evolve Co, a company dedicated to helping beauty industry professionals grow their business & break through their personal & business limiting beliefs!
